The parawing design I’m developing as a steerable recoverable system for rocket payloads.

It is compact and light weight when compared to alternative steerable recovery parachute designs.

The chute pictured is approximately 7.5 2m and is designed to recover a 40 kg payload at a total velocity of 10 m/s.

Here it is being flown as a kite to test the effects of changes to line lengths.
